We are excited to share that Kadin Tang has demonstrated exceptional coding skills, securing a spot in Top 25 at TCS Codevita. We sent 6 teams to the 2022 ICPC programming competition. the 6 teams to represent 菠菜网lol正规平台 were chosen using a 5 hour qualifying competition at the beginning of february. because of COVID, the contest happened on february 25, 2023. it was our fourth year 参与! this year, we had three division 1 teams and three division 2 teams in the pacific northwest region. (the hardest region in north america!)竞争 involves teams of 3 students, 一个 computer, 13 problems, and 5 hours (and that was after the 4 hour bus ride to chico!). you can try out the problems yourself at Problems from 2022 ICPC North America Regional Programming Contests.

Congratulations to Jamie Zuspann, Hugo Wong, Joshua Lawson, and Mohammed Naqvi. 这 semester they collaborated with a team of four students from the Technische Hochschule in Ingolstadt Germany on a project provided by SRI International. 团队最终 delivered a tool that will enable engineers to harvest and edit conceptual knowledge from the Web and save it in a form that can be used by SRI’s bRight platform. 一个德国 grant paid for the 菠菜网lol正规平台 students to fly to Germany for the final presentation. 的 grant also provided funds for nightly visits to Bavarian beer gardens and excursions to local attractions.
